IISuperwomanII writes a book, and it's every bit as hilarious and insightful as her YouTube channel.

I gave this book five stars because of how much depth she put into it. I recommended this book to high schoolers.

It is a precious self-help book. Each chapters are short and to the point. Overall, this was a quick and simple read.

This book is absolutely amazing! I love it so much and plan on buying it. It really has inspired me - she is such a down-to-earth individual and I finished the Audiobook in one day - which she narrates the book herself and it's AWESOME.

Highly recommend!

Fun, lighthearted read that is all inspiration to work, follow your dreams, to achieve, to 'hustle', to be your own version of a Bawse.

She's quite the powerhouse of motivation yet the writing is not at all like many others on business. It is not monotonous or droning on. It's upbeat, modern language with lots of slang, easy to read little clippets of stories and thoughts.

If you want to are are starting a business, this is a good book to pick up.

Bawse is a way of life, according to YouTube Lilly Singh, and her followers on social media will like her silliness and straight forwardness in this book about how to succeed in life, both personally and professionally.

I decided to read Lilly Singh's book after it won first place in the 2017 Goodreads Awards Non-fiction category. Although I don't follow Lilly and haven't watched her videos, I'm glad that I chose to read her book, which offers very practical advice on accomplishing your goals and becoming the best version of yourself. I even completed the activities at the end of chapters 8, 24, and 46 because each of these chapters resonated with me in a unique way. However, I'd be lying if I said that the rest of the book didn't.

This is a book that I would have love to have read during my senior year of college; maybe even as early as my junior year. What I appreciate about How To Be A Bawse is that Lilly doesn't try to convince you to be someone that you're not, but rather gives you the building blocks for becoming successful in your own way; while also challenging you to look within at what is holding you back from becoming who you are meant to be. Although she & I are the same age, I took a lot away from her book and have already recommended it to other people.

This book was okay. While Lilly gives some good life advice she becomes repetitive.

How To Be A Bawse: So raw and empowering, Lilly proves to be an influential Youtuber and motivator. This work of literature will stand the test of time. It is real, truthful, and most importantly, inspiring. Lilly talks about how she overcame obstacles she faced in her life, and delves into what it takes to be successful. Based on her personal experiences, it is impossible to resist the reading the quality life lessons explored. Rather than referring to a boss, who is someone in charge of a workplace, Lilly refers to a BAWSE, someone who excels in all areas of life.

When I picked up How to Be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life I had no idea who or what Lilly Singh a.k.a. iiSuperwomanii was. When asked, people around me told me she was a famous YouTuber with a note of derision in their voices. I flipped through the pages and saw pictures of Michelle Obama and Singh herself in funny hats and I was hesitant to actually turn to page one and begin reading.

Once I started reading, I found myself in mental conversation with a collected young woman with goals and work ethic and high hopes for her readers. Singh lays out fifty chapters, divided into four parts: Master Your Mind, Hustle Harder, Make Heads Turn, and Be a Unicorn. Accompanying each chapter is a double-page spread of Singh in a new outfit posing with some props that probably have something to do with the contents of the chapter.
