I love how Darkstalker can do anything (such as reading minds and maybe seeing the future?), even though sometimes he does seem a bit too overpowered. There are some gruesome scenes that may not be appropriate for younger people, such as a time when one dragon (okay, it's Prince Arctic) rips out his insides with his own talons. That's totally not fair, and I'm sure many of us WoF fans can agree that that was just cruel and wrong. But, all in all, I'm definitely hoping that Tui writes some more legends, because this is an awesome book!

The first chapter from Fathom's perspective is pretty cool although they have that in Talons of Power too.
It's SO gross on what happens to Arctic

Ending's really sad though

The whole series is very nice, but this book stands out as one of the best. It depicts the protagonist so he can be seen both as a hero and a villain. The ending was very well written--sad, but deeply touching.

Wow, this is a great book. I find it cool to read a book through a villains eyes. It would be so cool to read minds. :) However it was a bit disturbing to read about a dragon ripping himself apart.

Okay, so, if the NightWing puninsula eroded THAT MUCH...Why didn't ANYTHING else? I mean, the RainWing islands are still there, same with the IceWing and SeaWing islands. SERIOUSLY!

Although, don't get me wrong, THIS IS A GREAT BOOK.

I havent read this book yet, but by all the other Wings of Fire series I can tell this book is going to be a good book, especially by Tui's talent with writing books. I cannot wait to be able to read this book!

amazing!!! it is really cool to see the real story behind darkstalker! the book does have some funny parts(does it? i can't remember) but mostly it's actually a pretty sad story. it almost made me cry at the end(i think i might have just stared into space for a few minutes after i finished it. I'm not completely sure...) i mean seriously darstalker?! killing your own dad?! that's brutal!!!!!!! :O >:( oh,whatever! the book is awesome!
P.S. tui should totally write more legends! i hope she does!(fingers crossed)

Darkstalker

This story is cool because it is set 2,000 years before any of the books. It switches perspectives from a NightWing with mind-reading, prophecy, and animus powers. There is also a SeaWing who is an animus, and witnesses a sad and gruesome event at the beginning of the book. This also has the perspective of Clearsight, a NightWing with amazing prophecy powers. This book has different reactions based on the people who read it, but Arctic killing himself is kind of gross, and the ending is really sad. I like this book, but it's a little bit crazy.

If I were Clearsight, I think I would have done what she sis in the book. I thought Darkstalker wasn't evil but he did horrible things I thought he would never do. :( Indigo I though was a nice dragon until she met Darkstalker and had body guard training. She married Fathom in secrecy at the end. YAAAAAAAY :D

Clearsight and Darkstalker seam perfect for each other. When with their hearts set on different futures, things get complicated, and a little scary.
