As I like bacon and dislike jogging, I was immediately taken in by the title. It is good for getting to know the reasoning behind a ketogenic diet, but it is lacking in many of the practical aspects of following such a diet, such as dealing with the keto flu, what supplements you need to take, etc. It is an interesting diet, but it is definitely an incomplete one, there are pros and cons that each person will have to weigh. It is great for having more energy and no blood sugar spikes, but you must greatly increase your intake of sodium and various other minerals so that you don't get muscle cramps and spells of lightheadedness. It is recommended for epileptics, diabetics, and cancer patients.

I find it hard to embrace a diet where the author says you don't really need to eat vegetables.

For breakfast, the author recommends "Two to five tablespoons of butter or cream in your tea or coffee"! So you'll have to look elsewhere for realistic dietary advice.
