This is a documentary originally broadcast as an episode of the television program "Nova" in 2003.
On April 25, 1953, James Watson and Francis Crick published their groundbreaking discovery of the double helix structure of DNA, but their cricual breakthrough depended on the pioneering work of another biologist---Rosalind Franklin.
The film investigates the shocking truth behind one of the greatest discoveries and tells about this brilliant woman in an era of male-dominated science.
It is a fascinating secret story.
