Its ok, but a little too boring in the middle

Though it's based on an interesting story, I found this BBC production to be uncharacteristicly slow and boring. The screenplay lacked that British wittiness and the acting felt wooden. However, the excellent Bonus Feature on The Battle of the Somme, makes this still worth viewing.
