The title got me excited and the story disappointed me.
The thrill of an abandoned Star Destroyer with what my idea of what would have been rouge elite storm troopers turned into a disappointing zombie story.

Everything in this book felt pieced together and nothing came to a real close for characters or the story line.

I read the book for sake if it being part of the Star Wars universe. I'm not sure I'll follow up with this author again.

You had me at zombie stormtroopers. A surprisingly dark but fun entry into the Star Wars universe, this was a compelling read that verged almost on horror. There were several times that I felt almost claustrophobic thinking about being trapped in deep space with zombies equipped with blasters.

Zombie stormtroopers!!! While far from the best Star Wars book I've read, this was a lot of fun, especially since I listened to it around Halloween!

This book is not scary unless you have a phobia with scary covers. The part I dont like is the happy ending

This book appears great,a abandoned star destroyer, the prison barge send a boarding party up to the star destroyer where the power is on and it doesn't move at all when they came back, only half of the crew came back, with the other group gone, they also brought back a disease where nothing can stop it that causes the whole prison barge's crew infected, only a few suvivors left,Dr.cody, trig and his brother kale and a imperial gerneral trying to find escape pods when all the corpses starts to disappear, stormtroopers, guards officers, inmates. So they travel all the way to the star destroyer main hanger, where they found lots of zombies whithout limbs, legs, heads, very creepy, they had to fought all the way out,it is a great, scary, teffiying story don't be afraid to read it,i am only ten! read this book, too if you had a chance.

Zombies on a Star Destroyer.

That says it all. I laughed my head off when someone showed me this book, but it turned out to be a good zombie horror story. It's appropriately creepy and shocking, the atmosphere is remeniscent of Alien, and it doesn't take long before you're on edge, waiting for something to jump out from around every corner. Pick this one up if you get a chance.

I admit, when I first saw this book, I laughed out loud. I have read many, many Star Wars books, and I also adore things like vampires, werewolves, and of course, zombies. So a book that combined zombies and Star Wars? Hilarious and totally awesome.
What I didn't expect was that this book was actually going to be good, not just for laughs, but for its own qualitites.
This book is well written, creating in depth characters and a pervasive atmosphere of horror in a few short chapters. Then the true terror begins.
The plot is well thought out, the characters easy to sympathize with or hate, depending on the character. I quickly became immersed in the writing, following the characters on their adventures and scares. I felt the same horror that they had, and white knuckled it until the very end.
In conclusion, I thought this book was fantastic: well written, easy to get into, and with a very scary atmosphere. And if liking zombies on Star Destroyers eating Storm Troopers is wrong? I don't wanna be right.
