The magnificent Ivanoff emerald: It surfaced atnbsp;nbsp;Christie's at Geneva, "The Property of anbsp;nbsp;Lady"--a lady now sought by powerful men intent onnbsp;nbsp;seizing a legacy that could tilt the world balance ofnbsp;nbsp;power . . .

The terrifying Ivanoff secret: Shenbsp;nbsp;lived like a pauper with a royal ransom in gems, nbsp;nbsp;determined to carry her secret to the grave . . .nbsp;nbsp;until an act of love and a public auction broughtnbsp;nbsp;the world--and the curse--to her door . . .

Thenbsp;nbsp;last of the Ivanoffs--pawns in a deadly game: Thenbsp;nbsp;royal gems are merely the lure to the hiddennbsp;nbsp;billions for which nations are willing to kill. The lastnbsp;nbsp;of the Ivanoffs should have died in 1917. Now,nbsp;nbsp;two generations later, they are the prize--and thenbsp;nbsp;prey . . .
From war-torn Russia to New York'snbsp;nbsp;teeming Lower East Side . . . from Ziegfeld's Broadwaynbsp;nbsp;and the Hollywood of the moguls to contemporarynbsp;nbsp;Washington, Geneva, and Berlin, Elizabeth's Adler'snbsp;nbsp;novel of passion, power, and royal privilege willnbsp;nbsp;command your attention to the very lastnbsp;nbsp;page.

Great setting, fast paced, intriguing and not too many characters to follow. I felt swept away -- an enjoyable read and Large Print is easy on my eyes.
