This was the most amazing series that I have ever read (listened to). I learned so much about history. The characters are so compelling. I highly recommend all three books! I don't even know what else to say....wow!

1st two books in Trilogy were much better. Characters seemed to pop up out of nowhere in this one. I got to the point where I did not care what happened to any of them. It was interesting to see how people lived behind the Iron Curtain and the Berlin Wall. Also, good insight from black individuals fighting for Civil Rights within the system. karen

Edge of Eternity is the final book in Ken Follett's The Century Trilogy. This title covers the years 1961 through 1989 and focuses on the civil rights movement in the U.S. and the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States. Follett's knack for interesting characters and history research result in a tale that brings recent history to light. I only wish that the epilogue had told us what had happened to all the families from 1989 to 2008.

Awesome trilogy, but I liked the first two titles better than this one.

Outstanding chronology of families through true historic events. This is how a long story should be written. Every page is interesting and contributes throughout this excellent and well written novel. 10 of 10 stars
