The Superior Age begins! As one of the world's most recognizable characters is recast in a bold and uncompromising new vision, take a look back at the greatest conflict in comics history: Spider-Man vs. Dr. Octopus! Then, the Superior Spider-Man takes center-stage, touring the Marvel Universe in a series of rip-roaring team-ups. Tempers flare, as per usual, when Wolverine and his X-Men show up to battle a giant spider over Manhattan. The Superior Spider-Man works with the Future Foundation as the literal future comes crashing in on them, threatening to destroy the FF itself and expose Spider-Man's ultimate secret! When Electro returns, can Spider-Man and Thor, the God of Thunder, set aside their differences--and egos--to save the world? Probably not. And the mysterious being known as Sleepwalker stalks Spider-Man in the waking world, while something far more horrible has invaded his dreams!

Really great story, really great action. I read this one after reading three full tp's of superior spider man so being ahead of the curve did alter my experience a little but this is a definite must read for spidey, marvel, and comic fans alike.

Suprisingly good (or Superior) to Don Slott's "Superior Spider Man" series, IMO.

Collecting the first set of team up stories from the post-mindswitch event, this has Doctor Octopus as Spider-Man interacting- and trying to keep his secrets- from other heroes in the Marvel universe. The choices here by writer Yost are fitting- the X-Men, Thor, the Future Foundation, and something of a ringer in the form of an obscure character called the Sleepwalker. Having the character smack around Wolverine- as happens here- is long overdue.
