The final volume in Brubaker's epic run on Captain America and his world pits Cap and his allies against a conspiracy meant to discredit the Avenger, including a Glenn Beck substitute who's not quite what he seems. Cullen Bunn co-writes with Brubaker this time out, and their work is accompanied by outstanding art from Eaton and Epting. It is a fitting closure to the Brubaker era, one of the best creative runs for the character's history.

This final collection of stories from Ed Brubaker were actually co written by Ed and Cullen Bunn and you can see the difference in their writing style, albeit ever so slight. The final story of this edition almost brought me to tears as Brubaker bids farewell to Cap as Steve Rogers closes the door on the tour of duty of a fallen soldier. A fitting end to Brubaker's run.
