St. Louis Rivers baseball team star pitcher Garrett Scott is out of the lineup with an injury. He's short-tempered, hard to handle-- and every solid inch a man. For sports therapist Alicia Riley, his only demand is that she get him ready to pitch in time for opening day. Except the sexual chemistry between them is so charged, Alicia's tempted to oblige Garrett just about anything... Garrett also feels the hot sparks between them, and the way he figures it, what better therapy is there than sex? Now all he has to do is convince the woman with the power to make the call...

This story line is too much like in Playing to Win. And the heroine, Alicia, is a carbon copy of Savanna -- always right & totally without humour. The sex is sizzling but save your time & read one or the other.

Terrible book. The dialogue was so unimaginative I couldn't get past the first few chapters.

"What is going on with this series? my lease two favorite characters...Alicia and Savanna. OMG! they bitch and cry the most when they don't get what they want . some women shouldn't have sex for fun if they can't handle it... they need to leave there emotions at the door. you can't make a man fall in love with you until he is ready to. Max took it like a man when Garrett ask to work with Alicia...ho it was all good for her. how did Max feel? not good I bet. but he handle it like a professional should. I bet he ask himself did a chick just took my job? did he act out? get mad? mouth off? no...he took it like a man...but has soon as Garrett ask to work with Max again, she run off crying like a baby saying he is going to get all the credit for Garrett playing again. really? I don't think it would have made a difference if Garrett talk to her in private about Max taking over. I like Garrett he is a sweet guy! he would have told everyone she was the therapist he worked with... like that was the only thing she was doing LOL!
