Enrique Alonso, escritor, recibe una carta de su padre adoptivo, uno de los más conocidos anticuarios de Barcelona, en la que éste le relata el hallazgo de un antiguo manuscrito redactado en latín y catalán antiguo. Por desgracia, Artur no verá cumplido su sueño de encontrarla, pues será asesinado. Enrique se trasladará a Barcelona con el objetivo de encontrar la explicación a los misterios del manuscrito, resolver el asesinato y tratar de localizar esa joya por la que aparentemente murió su padre.

Me ha gustado mucho. Es una novela de suspense muy entretenida ambientada en el corazón historico y cultural de Barcelona. La he disfrutado mucho.

It is not a bad book however it seems like reading The Historian, except now instead of looking for Dracula, you are looking for a sacred stone. Dunno i believe that the author did a good job with a twist in the ending but somehow i was not convinced with the story as a whole.
