I am not quite sure how to feel about this book...
It was set in a different time after Tally in the last 3 books with a different protaganist, Aya.

So this was a book written in 2007, and it had a lot of 2007 pop culture references and that kinda just weired me out. It was different. But this book just kinda dragged on and on.

This was a MEH book. If you want to read it after Specials, Go ahead, but it doesn't add too much onto the books.

The first three books of this series were in chronological order of events happening to the same protagonist in the same main setting. However this book, the fourth and last in the series, focuses on a different protagonist in a different setting at a much later time from when the third book left off. Even though I loved this book and the story line, it is quite different from what the first three books come to have the reader expect. This series is almost like a trilogy with an extra book added on to the end. I still recommend the series and this book highly.

I loved this book. It is so much better than the first one, second one and the third books by Scott Westerfeld. Sooooooo awesome to read the Fourth book. :)

After three books, I had really gotten to know Tally, Shay and David. I thought it would be a good change to have a new main character, which happened to be Aya. But halfway through the book, when Tally and Aya met, I started to realize how annoying she is. Also, I didn't like how Aya felt about Tally, like I said, after three books I'd really become attached. Tally had been through so much, and Aya felt so bad for herself not having enough fame and popularity. Overall, the first three books were so much better, as well as the characters.

I loved all the other 3 books from the series. The books are distopian, which is a genre I don't usually read. To be honest, I absolutely loved them! Extras though was my favorite of the 4. It was nice to have another female character, besides Tally. Aya had a very different personality and perspective then Tally, which created suspense and conflict between the two characters! Overall it was a great read, and I rate it 5 stars!

With a new lead character and a new location, I didn't think I would enjoy this book, but I have to admit, it was my favorite from the series! Now I'm just wishing for a book that explains what happened when characters' idea was accomplished.

I love distopia! This was a great book. I'm really glad Westerfield didn't make Aya and Tally identical, but still had similarities. I usually can expect the end of a book, and a few unexpected twist were thrown my way. Some thing I enjoy in a book. (And I don't often find)

Honestly, this series is my favorite books of all time. I love the suspense, the tech, the way society is described in here! I cannot imagine a more perfect book
