Being familiar with some other works from this same Author, I expected to instantly like this book and jump into a new series. It did not happen that way. I felt it was very slow to get into the book and become a part of the action and community within it. But the trick is to keep on reading, even if it starts slow or you think there is too much drawn out detail in the beginning. You will be rewarded if you do! This is a wonderful book which has provided entertainment and relaxation. Joan Sanderson is such a truly likeable and believable person! One of the bonuses with this book is you don't have to worry you will run upon foul language you don't want in your life! I was blessed by the Author's story about these three sisters and the family. I found myself praying for Gram (even as Joan would do) and though the storyline is simple, it is a series worth the time. I have already started on Book 2 of this series and am glad DCPL has them all in large print. That is another blessing for tired eyes.............

I loved this story and am anxious to read the remaining books in the series. A light-hearted story of relationships--family, neighbors, coworkers. A clean story with no foul language or promiscuous sex.
