Joshua Harris's first book, written when he was only 21, turned the Christian singles scene upside down...and people are still talking. More than 800,000 copies later, I Kissed Dating Goodbye, with its inspiring call to sincere love, real purity, and purposeful singleness, remains the benchmark for books on Christian dating. Now, for the first time since its release, the national #1 bestseller has been expanded with new content and updated for new readers. Honest and practical, it challenges cultural assumptions about relationships and provides solid, biblical alternatives to society's norm.Clear, stylish typeset, with user-friendly links to referenced Scripture.

I Kissed Dating Goodbye? More like Say Hello to Loneliness, Depression, Social Anxiety and Abnormal Fear of the Opposite Sex. Keep in mind, Harris was 21 when he wrote this and coming off of a bad break-up. The whole thing is an anti-dating rant. This is a great book if you're 14. For older Christians, not so much. I think it's more damaging than helpful to be honest. All it does is teach you to be afraid and think you're better than everyone else because you don't date. Don't be surprised if you end up inadvertently kissing the prospect of marriage goodbye because you listened too well to this ridiculousness.

If you plan to have relationships with the opposite sex or get married someday, READ THIS BOOK. It is absolutely priceless and changed my entire view on relationships. Another couple of books I would recommend is "When God Writes Your Love Story" by Eric and Leslie Ludy, and "Passion and Purity" by Elisabeth Elliot.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about the purpose of dating and one's future and how it can work without becoming a serial dater. Also check out the 2nd book 'Boy meets Girl'. Recommend

If you're tired of the worldly dating game that leaves you hanging and makes your life sound like a soap opera, pick this book up. This book teaches you how to date with a purpose, and not to casually date which only leads to broken hearts and disappointment. It's an encouragement to singles to be content, while still having hope for matrimony. 5 stars!
