I wasn't going to make a comment, but the current ones are so negative, I think something must be said to defend this book.

It's great, super hilarious, even a bit meaningful at times.

Alcatraz finally makes it to his homeland; Nalhala, to find out that his mother is up to something, and it definitely isn't good.

Trying to deal with fame and a distant father, Alcatraz sets out to save Bastile from something bad, rid Nalhala of the Librarian sect, the Wardens of the Standard. And not get punched in the face. (He fails at that one though, miserably)

If you loved the first two books in this series you're bound to enjoy this one too. If you haven't read the first two books in the series, then you should go back and read them.

The others were strange but this was just horrible. Brandon Sanderson is one of my fav authors. But this. This stunk!!

this is the third book in the series, after Alcatraz Verses the evil librarians and Alcatraz vs the scrivener's bones. its nice to read a book about evil librarians ruling the world, hooberstackers, and powers like breaking things, being late, tripping, dancing very badly, and getting lost (no unfortunately Kaz isnt in this one... he is lost somewhere)
Alcatraz has stopped trying to convince us he is evil, and is now going on about his awesomeness. the first two books where better, but it was still funny to find out what life is like in the free kingdoms. there is a potential treaty with the librarians to end the war in exchange for Mokia, and island we don't know about. Alcatraz has to stop it, and at the same time a certain librarian is trying to get into the royal archives NOT a library.

Entertaining, but not as good as the others in the series.
