Add a CommentI really enjoyed this book. The characters are likeable and believable, and I like the plot of the young woman, Nicole, empowering herself and creating a life worth living. It was definitely a page-turner and I'm planning to read more books by this author.
Nicole, returns to Seattle after 10 years of being away from her family when her mother calls to say that Nicole's disabled sister was raped in the institution where she lives. Already half way through her pregnancy by the time the nurses realize what happened, Nicole removes her sister from the care facility and plans to care for her sister until the baby arrives. This book is very well written, the pace of the story keeps you turning pages, the story is believable and the characters are well developed. I would highly recommend this book. There is a preview of the author's next book coming out in 2013 and already I can't wait to read it!
