The premise of the book sounded really interesting, but the actual book was just okay. To me, Jacobs comes across as a bit of a pig (thus the title? "The Guinea PIG Diaries").

Jacobs is a very engaging writer. He gets very into his "experiments", with entertaining results when they're not necessarily so practical, and he usually draws some interesting conclusions from them.
