Gladiators & Secrets of the Colosseum

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Description

Entertainment during the Roman Empire looks very different than what we have today! Explore who a gladiator really was, how the Colosseum provided a world-renowned stage for these spectacles, and visit the most famous gladiatorial training center adjacent to the Colosseum. Discover the Roman Colosseum, unearthing its secrets and trap doors, imagining what it must have been for a gladiator in the arena to face a wild animal from the far reaches of the Roman Empire.
