Explore the rich and diverse world of Pacific Northwest mushrooms and beyond! Discover the prized edible mushrooms that are the jewels of our local forests and delve into the fascinating realm of boletes and other unique Himalayan edibles with mushroom expert Daniel Winkler.

Daniel will share insights from his nearly 30 years of experience foraging in the PNW and from his book Fruits of the Forest: A Field Guide to Pacific Northwest Edible Mushrooms.

Daniel Winkler grew up collecting and eating wild mushrooms in the Alps and is sharing his enthusiasm as a mushroom educator, photographer, and guide. Daniel is the author of several mushroom field guides and organizes mushroom-focused tours with his travel agency MushRoaming.
