WSU Our Earth, Our Home-Stewarding Our Island Ecosystems

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Camano Island Library

Description

Camano Island’s natural beauty is a delight for residents and visitors, and it requires stewardship. You can help protect the island’s natural resources, enhance your connection with nature, and learn how to manage some of the challenges of living in this dynamic environment.

Join Kristin Marshall (Habitat Restoration and Floodplain Management Program Director) and Kathryn Wells (Community Outreach Specialist) from the Snohomish Conservation District (SCD). You will earn about enhancing your home with native plants, where to go for help if you live on a bluff.

SCD can provide one-on-one, voluntary, and FREE assistance for you to create a vibrant home with healthy forest, abundant birds and butterflies, and a thriving local ecosystem.
