Henna is a plant-based dye that stains the skin for 1-2 weeks. In this workshop, participants will learn about henna's rich history and cultural usage throughout North Africa, the Middle East, India and beyond. After a discussion about henna safety, each person will receive their own fresh organic henna to practice with while learning how to create henna designs. This workshop is led by ICNHA-certified henna artist Sarah Walters of SARAHENNA.
For participants 12 and over. Registration is required.
