Tile Laying Board Games

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Freeland Library

Come discover one of the most popular tabletop game genres, "Tile Laying" games!

In tile-based games, players usually draw or draft tiles and create a map on which to play. From Viking islands and dungeons to French castles and wizard towers, tile-based games include an exciting element of discovery and creation.

We will start by introducing the Tile Laying genre with a little history and some examples of the top games in this category. We'll also discuss various strategies and game play and what makes these games so popular. Then we'll dive in and test our luck and skill playing several of the most popular games!

Presented by JT Mudge, Game Consultant

Please note that this tabletop game day is most suitable for adults and teens ages 12 and up.
