Coupeville 101: Peaceful Traders

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Coupeville Library

Join us for a six-week course as Lynn Hyde, executive director of Historic Whidbey, explores the history of Coupeville and Ebey's Landing. Through primary documents, we can hear first-hand the voices of those who came before. The course will explore "the good, the bad and the ugly" of our region's evolution from the Age of Exploration through the town's incorporation in 1910, linking Whidbey Island to the rest of the United States.

In this session, Lynn will cover the era of peaceful coexistence between Britain's Hudson Bay Company and the Salish peoples of the Salish Sea.

Registration is required for each session.
